Marion, Studio Inhaberin

Pilates Trainer | Founder – teaches in German and English

My first encounter with classical Pilates was in the mid-1990s – a moment that changed my life. The very first time I lay on the Reformer, I immediately felt the depth, precision, and extraordinary intelligence of this method. What began as fascination quickly developed into a lifelong calling. I completed my comprehensive training with Clare Dunphy Hemani, a direct representative of the original Pilates lineage – a standard of quality that continues to shape my work to this day. In 2003, I opened my PRIVATE PILATES studio, becoming one of the few at the time to teach authentic, classical Pilates in Frankfurt. Over the following 17 years – from 2003 to 2020 – I worked with both women and men, guiding a wide range of individuals through demanding physical processes. From professional athletes to doctors and entrepreneurs, to pregnant women and people with specific health needs: every encounter deepened my expertise and sharpened my intuition. At the same time, I continuously pursued advanced training at the highest level. Particularly influential was my three-year education in Structural Integration – Anatomy Trains with Thomas Myers. This knowledge of fascia, anatomy, and manual work is a fundamental part of my practice today and allows me the rare ability to intuitively understand the inner connections of the body and respond with precision. Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of working with people from all backgrounds: professional athletes such as Timo Hildebrand, individuals like Palantir CEO Alex Karp, as well as women who required highly specialized training following medical procedures, during chronic conditions, or throughout and after cancer treatment. I have supported stroke patients in regaining safe movement and stability. Each of these experiences has taught me how unique every body is – and how essential precise, sensitive guidance can be. After a sabbatical, I fulfilled my original vision once again in 2020 by opening my current boutique studio: a fully private space dedicated exclusively to women. A place where quality takes precedence over quantity, and where every minute is devoted entirely to you. Here, you train without distractions, without shared spaces, and without background noise. Each session is separated by a break – a luxury that benefits both your body and your nervous system. Today, I teach Pilates in its purest and highest-quality form – exactly as Joseph Pilates originally designed it. In my studio, you work on classical apparatus such as the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, and Pedi-Pole. The springs of these machines work deeply into the fascia, muscles, and bone structure. When applied correctly – with precision, awareness, and anatomical understanding – they not only create length, elegance, and strength, but also improve bone density, an essential factor for women of all ages. This training is a true investment in your body, your long-term well-being, and your longevity. My highly qualified team and I offer exclusive boutique sessions, duets, and highly sought-after private training. But the true difference lies in something that cannot be taught: I have the ability to feel what your body needs. I recognize patterns, imbalances, and potential – often before they become visible. Precision, intuition, and decades of experience come together in every moment of our work. My goal is not simply to train you. My goal is to transform your body, refine your posture, enhance your well-being and positively influence your aging process in a tangible way. If you are ready to invest in your body and experience training at the highest level, your journey begins with me – in a studio that sees you in your strongest, clearest, and most vibrant version.

The Origin Story of Private Pilates by Marion Samali

The Origin Story of Private Pilates by Marion Samali

My enthusiasm for Pilates began in my twenties. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, motivating me to become a "Comprehensive Peak Pilates Trainer." With this knowledge, I opened my own Pilates studio in Frankfurt in 2003. It quickly gained a reputation through word of mouth and was soon fully booked.

The Beginning

1

As demand grew, I expanded my studio in 2008, offering Reformer individual, duet, and group sessions in various rooms with two trainers. My efforts to make Pilates appealing to men were successful, and in 2011, I moved my studio to a central location at Schweizer Platz. My studio attracted people of all backgrounds and ages who wanted to invest in their health long-term. Prominent personalities like Palantir CEO Alex Karp and national football player Timo Hildebrand, who invited me to Spain for Pilates training in 2007, appreciated the quality of my work.

Experience and Expansion

2

After my initial training, I deepened my knowledge at renowned training centers and had the honor of learning from globally respected trainers like Kathy Ross Nash, Clare Dunphy Hemani, and Sonje Mayo. In 2013, I completed an intensive three-year Anatomy Trains training program with Thomas Myers, where I also learned manual fascia therapy (SI). This allowed me to establish a high-quality standard in my studio. (SI = Structural Integration is a hands-on therapy that works on muscles and fascia to help with body misalignments and improve the body's relationship with gravity.)

The Solid Foundation: Training

3

In 2018, I decided to take a sabbatical to refocus on my original vision. From then on, my studio PRIVATE PILATES was exclusively dedicated to independent and strong women. I have continuously refined and specified my passion for teaching women. At our exclusive location in Schifferstraße, we offer tailored Pilates courses exclusively for women who want to bring out the best in themselves.
